Karen and I watched "Born Into Brothels" last night, a documentary about the children of Indian prostitutes. The 60 million prostitutes in India have a lot of children, and they live heart-rending lives. You owe it to yourself to rent the movie (rated R for a couple of scenes of bad language).

If you are a Christian in India, there is no middle ground. My friend Samuel Thomas wrote me an email this morning describing a situation in India where one of his churches was attacked by enemies:

"Eight hours ago, they destroyed one of our church building, destroyed completely the school. The local police have said that they will not give protection. They have attacked one of our other buses and beaten the driver badly and beaten several of our students. One of the main leaders of the militant group has announced that there should be a great number of killings of Christians in the next few days. We must not waver on our faith. Stand faithful to our savior unto death.

Please use your influence to have the government of other countries to put a word into our government leaders to give protection to the orphan children in our homes, for pastor and their families. We need justice for Christians in India."
