In yesterday's blog I described my visit to the town of Madruga, a place where a great revival had broken out in 1988 and where healings continued to occur. A healing had occurred just prior to our arrival in Madruga.

A church member who wore thick glasses and could barely read a large print Bible came forward for healing. After praying for her, Pastor Guillermo Valdez said, "Now take off your glasses and read this small print Bible."

As the woman did so, the realization that she had been miraculously healed overwhelmed her. Tears streamed down her cheeks.

When she went to work the next day, all her co-workers were astounded at her healing. It's this kind of testimony that attracts the people of Madruga to the church.

Valdez reports unusual phenomena as well as healings. In a church service, the Lord told him that a man was demonized. "Demon," he commanded, "the game is up! Get out of there in Jesus name!"

Seven demons came out and jumped into a new believer sitting nearby. "Church," Valdez commanded, "everyone lay hands on a new believer and claim the blood of Christ!" When they had done this, they were safe from further attacks.

What about you? Do you pray recklessly like Valdez? Are you missing the fruit God wants to give you? You don't have to be superman to tap God's power; you just have to willing to be used.
