The pictures I took in Swaziland still rock me every time I look at them, more each time in fact.  I was
looking at this picture and my heart broke again.

These two kids, exhausted, passed out on a concrete step. The other kids, so used to doing the same, think nothing of it, for soon it will probably be their turn.

I remember how sometimes I would get so stressed and discouraged with life that I would go nap to disconnect from my reality. Can anyone relate?

I wonder what these poor little buddies here have going on in their heads. I'm hoping that it is just that "After Thanksgiving Dinner Nap" because they just ate the biggest meal they had in a while. Jesus said that foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to rest his head.

And again, I look, and my heart breaks all over again and tears open in a new way. Not at the seams where it was broken before, but in a whole new way—a way that is reminded of the emergency that is going on there now. Please pray for these little ones and the ones taking care of them, whether it be their 9-year-old brother or sister, a missionary, or whomever. Your prayers reach overseas. Bless you.
