I got the following report from the eight teams that will begin to race the length of Mexico and climb up the Mayan pyramid in the picture. They leave from Matamoros this evening.

The excitement builds as the January 2007 World Race teams prepare to be unleashed to the nations. Today, the adventure begins. Backpacks crammed full of nothing but the essentials, Racers lined up as if preparing to run a marathon, the hum of anticipation grows louder.

After 3 days of preparation in Matamoros, the teams are ready to launch out onto the first leg of their 11 month journey.

The past three days have been spent priming and pumping this team up to be sent forth to change the nations. Hearts have been laid open before the Lord as the teams push aside all else to live for an all-consuming audience of one.

Through a day of silence and hours of seminars, these young people have been ignited into a fire that will burn up and consume all who cross its path.

It's a revolution, baby!
